Once again, cancer rears its ugly head and sends someone home to the Lord before any of us were ready for her to be taken from us.
Sharon Whitt was the guidance counselor at Wood Elementary, where my son went to school. Nathan knew her real well, as did most of the kids at Wood because she loved those kids. One of Nathan's best friends lost his father this time last year, and Ms. Whitt helped him and his sister deal with that tragedy; you know this has got to be hitting them hard. Who knows how many other kiddos lives she touched? Hopefully, those kids will carry her memory with them in their hearts for the rest of their lives.
Please keep Ms. Whitt's family and friends in your prayers. She will definitely be missed.
